Where can I get cheap magazines?
I enjoy doing collages and like cutting images out from magazines. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get cheap, used ones, maybe? I don't want them for the content. just the pictures. thanks!

- The nearest convinience store. Daisy Mart, Harbor Varieties, Rabba.. Whatever.
- my library and a book corral where they have used magazines for 25 cents
- 2girls1cup.com or raygoldmodels.com
- sometimes gas stations have old ones for cheap or libraries i like doing that too! it's fun!!!
- put an add on craigslist?
- get the old ones from the bookstores like barnes and noble. Or get them from docors offices
- Freecycle!!!. Go to www.freecycle.com and find a Freecycle network near you and post a Wanted ad for magazines. The idea of Freecycle is that everything is free, all one needs to do is pick up the item. It's a place where people ask for things they'd like, or try and find new homes for things they no longer need. I'm sure there's a lot of Freecyclers out there who will be able to help fill your needs :-)
- Any thrift store - as little as a nickel each. Or - next time you're in the doctor's office or any place that has a waiting room, ask if you can grab one or two old magazines. I've left with more than I needed because they want to just get rid of old magazines!
